Freaky Fast...yeah, that basically describes JJ's. I hadn't heard of Jimmy John's until I moved to Grand Forks, but I'm a big fan now. The store is almost invariably clean, and the service is super quick. I've never had to wait more than 20 seconds for a sandwich to be made, and I'm out the door. And on those days where I don't feel like leaving the house? They deliver, which is also amazingly fast. Consider ordering online - it's super easy to use, and you can set up an account that remembers your orders. They haven't got the customization that Subway has, but the food is always really fresh, the bread is amazing (you can get their day-old stuff and use it at home for cheap), and it's relatively healthy, too.

Lady made my sandwich today, 1 June, 2014. I did not enjoy her hair in it though. Maybe try making your employees wear hair nets? Extremely disappointed. At least the dog had a good lunch.

VERY slow service, and the sandwich was bland I dont get what the other reviews thought this place was good as I sure didnt! And the surprising part was that while it was slow there was only 2 people in front of me! And I got my sandwich like 30 minutes later, mightiest would have went ot a sit in restaurant if Im going to wait that long, and to top it off, they screwed the order up totally! Totally incompetent workers here!

I love JJ's in general, so I was happy to find out when I moved here GF has 2 of them! I always get the #6 (the veggie that comes complete with an awesome avocado spread) & this particular JJs will bring me my sandwich at the university if I can't get away to pick it up myself. I have had variable delivery times, the longest being about an hour.... so that was not freaky fast, but what evs it was still good. Oh, and if you've never got a pickle from here you should. They are huge, dilly , and delicious.

The smell of fresh bread Number 5 is what I want Don't forget hot peps (THIS is where you go when you're up late and need a little snack/meal to keep you going. Sure, there's loud rock music playing at the store at all hours... but, then again, YOU used to listen to loud rock music back when you WERE young. Remember those days? Don't forget to pick up some 'day-old' bread for 50... Recommended.)

In the world of fast food sandwiches, Jimmy John's is the fat, fun loving cousin who stands in contrast to uptight and healthy Cousin Subway. And really, that's the best way to describe Jimmy John's. If you are a looking for a big meaty sandwich, this is the place to be. Their offerings are all great, with the exception of their Tuna Salad. That one tastes like cat food and lettuce. I'm a fan of tuna, but their version just falls flat - avoid. But every other option is great. I'm partial to the Italian Nightclub my self, on whole wheat and with "pep." Also, their potato chips are mighty tasty. They've got that added crunch and are really quite flavorful. Barbecue is my favorite, but really there's not a bad flavor in the bunch. The only complaint I can muster is the louder-than-it-needs-to-be music. God almighty, turn that racket down! Also, their employees tend to be on the surly side, so watch your step. But other than that, sandwiches are turned out quickly and you can be in and out within 5 minutes after ordering. So do yourself a favor, skip Subway and it's phony healthiness and indulge in a real sandwich. Try Jimmy's.
